five little things that made my week.
1. this geranium.
{because it’s blooming again}.
2. this bag of invitations.
{because they were mailed}.
3. this striped shirt.
{because james needed to buy a few tank tops to help with a banged up shoulder. turns out they’re cute}.
4. this to go cup.
{for taking on an early morning stroll}.
5. this bumble bee.
{just wiggling ’round in a little beach rose}.
what little something made your week?
other things:
wouldn’t mind touring this historic house.
pretty hair ties.
i want to go here.
nikole’s cake class sounds wonderful. but i’d settle for the fingerling chips.
this week on the equals record: a love affair with a park.
ps. new this week, sponsorship opportunities available on reading my tea leaves. rates were developed with independent designers, shop-keeps, and bloggers in mind. learn more, here.

Beautiful post!
Happy weekend!
Real men wear tank tops. š
this week, i loved discovering that my grocer sells the same tea cakes i had last summer in london. such a cheerful find š
happy weekend!
Ahh! Those are your wedding invites to mailed out right? So exciting! Love the geranium too, they always remind me of my Grama… so many at her house (I think it's an italian thing). Have a lovely weekend and hope James is feeling better…
INVITATIONS! Yay!
Lovely pictures š I love stripe shirts, nice choice!
Your post on the equals record makes me think about how much I'm like my mom. Why do we have such a hard time admitting it?! LOL
Now that I have a daughter, I'm watching my childhood experiences with my mom through my kid: "Stand up straight" "Stop saying Mmhmm, say yes" š
Have a good weekend.

Beautiful post and photos! Love the little geranium blossom. It thinks it can, so it does. š And i absolutely adore bumble bees. Your pic makes me think of the music, 'Flight of the Bumblebee'. So happy and filled with promise and fun.
i just discovered your blog and i adore it! i'm coming back to visit!
Hands are my very favorite thing about a person. Yours, I can tell, live out great stories. I've been pursuing — scratch that — I've been ENGROSSED in your blog for a bit now, just totally totally smitten. Filled with light and authenticity. Thank you š
I used those Edward Hopper boat stamps for my wedding invites, too! (Mailed them at the beginning of June). Our wedding is in Madison, Wisonsin–a city where sailing is huge–so they seemed very appropriate, plus I love Hopper's work. Congratulations on your wedding!
