we have a new weekly ritual: a walk to brooklyn bridge park on sunday with picnic basket and cozy blanket. snacks, the newspaper, and a little bit of shade complete the picture. what’s your weekend routine lately?
Avocados are my new favorite snack! I sprinkle them with sugar, or sometimes a drizzle of condensed milk. But it's definitely picnic season! I put together a picnic guide and I'm ready to make it a weekend routine as well š
That sounds so relaxing. Lately we've taken to perusing the local farmers' market on Saturday morning, cooking or grilling what we buy there in the evening, and spending Sunday morning at the local bakery. Lots of reading, enjoying food, and quiet. Just perfect.
the past few weekends we've biked up to the alberta district here in portland. we're still new to town so we explore the many bars and restaurants. it's fun to be anonymous!
I've been having coffee in bed for as long as possible these last few weekends. Something about the increasingly busier workweeks make me miss home and just being there.
now that sounds like a perfect weekend routine. We have just moved to Australia and have no routine at all so looking forward to Saturday night's beginign of a routine….. red wine, Indian food and sunggled up under a warm blanket watching a DVD. it is getting cold here!!
One of my favorite parks to play in on the weekends. Particularly fond of that older gentleman who, no matter the temperature, will see sunshine, strip, and tan in only a thong for an entire day. Please tell me you've spotted him! If not, now that you're looking, it won't be long…
Such a nice routine Erin! Love it. Our routine is, there is no routine…we did go to NY Botanical Gardens though and saw the Monet's Garden in Giverny exhibition. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Je recommende!
we just did the same thing but in green-wood cemetery in south brooklyn, and with military-grade binoculars for bird-watching. BEST DATE EVER, i swear;)
Sounds good!! In my case, my husband and I have started to go for a promenade in a different village near my town almost every sunday. We do sport, we do sightseeing, we feel more relax and we have fun.It has become our little routine and we love it very much! You do not need to go very far to feel confortable, relax and happy to do different activities with friends, partner or family.

I love that you show glimpses of downtown Brooklyn. It's my favorite place in the world.

Lovely pics! Oh, lately I've mostly enjoyed our garden and the sunshine that's finally embracing us. š
This post makes me so happy. It's just getting cold down here in the southern hemisphere, and I already miss summer…

very nice! tons of dirty work in the yard, then crashing my parents' pool for floating, grilling out, and family time.

Looks lovely!
