on last week’s impromptu trip to newport, i decided to poke my head into a shop along the aptly named bellevue avenue. what i found could not have been more delightful: an entire shop dedicated to tea-infused chocolates. being in the shop reminded me of afternoons i’ve spent in france, whiling away an hour with a good friend over a cup of hot tea or coffee.
if you ever find yourself wandering in newport, stop into la maison de coco. the bergamot flavored truffle was delightful and the freshly brewed coffee just right.
