i know that photos of snow might seem a little bit passĆ©, but the new york state thruway was showcasing plenty of the wintry white stuff yesterday, and i don’t mind saying it’s still pretty lovely to look at. in other news, we’re back now from the wedding and filled with lots of inspiration. first on our list of things to do? figure out how to incorporate some raucous family circle dances. opa!

that is a lot of beautiful snow! It is crazy to see that much snow there and it is in the 70's here with the trees all in full bloom! spring has come so early here this year, and I worry about a late frost coming in and stealing away all of the beautiful blooms!

The beech-nut photo reminds me of our annual drive from Boston to the U.P. The snow looks lovely, but I am so glad it finally melted from my little garden.
These are gorgeous! There's nothing passe about it. What I do notice is that even though the trees are covered in snow, the images exude an odd sense of warmth. Maybe it's because of the blue skies..
