yesterday morning was cloudy, so we decided to make a pie. a red berry pie.

we didn’t have a rolling pin. thank goodness for wine bottles.
there i am with the pie ready for the oven.

there is james waiting for the pie to cook in our tiny, perfect kitchen. we like close quarters.

james surprised me by getting my front bicycle wheel fixed. we ran outside during ten minutes of sunshine and took a ride around town.

and when we came home we had a tea party. we ate red berry pie and drank red berry tea.

then we had a sleepover in the living room with lots of red blankets. oh, happy day.
