my week in objects (mostly).

May 22, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. this truck bed._MG_5880
{because it’s just so nice to look at. and i got to walk past it three times this week}.

2. this tomato tart.tart
{because it was made from farmer’s market tomatoes and it marked the beginning of summer}.

3. these roadside flowers.roadsideflwrs
{because they made waking up at 4:00 am feel not so bad}.

4. my mom and dad’s irises.irises
{because they were just the greeting we needed after three hours of sitting on 95 in ct. grr}.
5. these bagels.bagels
{because i’m sorry north cackalack, but you really let me down in the bagel department}.

what little something made your week?

Oh my…that tomato tart looks amazing! I love using farmer’s market veggies until ours are ready. Is that fresh Parmesan on top? (I so want that recipe…begging here) 😉 I love the truck bed too. What great photos!

I would love to have the recipe for the tomato tart, too, it looks soooo good!!
Something that made my week this week was homemade carrot cupcakes, there were so many from the recipe I gave several away.

That tart is calling my name! You simply can’t beat farmer’s market tomatoes, can you?

that tart looks so delicious! I only like my tomatoes a certain way, usually cooked, and can be pretty picky, but I was to take a bite out of the picture it looks so good!

All the pretty flowers, my husband’s laugh, the beautiful summery weather, and lots of good food have made my week 🙂

Great photos. I especially love those roadside flowers. Reminds me of driving through New York a few summers ago….
