my weekend.

broccoli
this weekend brought me: an afternoon at the beach. loads of fresh summer veggies including the most delicious broccoli. reading this book. cover to cover. on the beach. in the rocker. under the sheets. dreaming about italy. making pizza using amy’s recipe. eating it on the front stoop. fresh melon that tasted like flowers. grating too much parmesan onto my pasta and devouring every last morsel. oh, yes, and this article about whales. what did your weekend bring you?

I need this book! Sounds great!

My weekend was filled with delicious summer time delights from the Farmer's Market – especially the juicy peach that tasted so good as it dripped down my chin and all over my hands! Heaven!

sounds like a great weekend. mine was pretty sweet, too. here's what happened: movie watching, sewing, crocheting, watermelon naming (they are so cute, they have to have names), ice cream eating, and visiting with family.

I went on an adventure to photograph South Carolina's most historic bridges! It was awesome. See my blog for photos. I thought you might enjoy the history behind them.

Thank you for the book recommendation. I love the title and trips to Italy have been some of my most favorite adventures.

This weekend brought me quiet time in West Marin. Rolling hills dotted with cows, oysters & corn salad at the Marshall Store, waking to the sound of birds… Sunday was my favorite day–a lazy and quiet day spent on the beach, looking out on Tomales Bay from beneath our sun shade, beside my favorite person, Chris.
