five little things that made my week.
1. this laundry rack.
{because i like how all of my lightly colored knits look hanging all together. and lest you think i’ve joined some kind of cult of domesticity, it was the look, not the task that made me smile}.
2. this novel.
{because it was assigned for a class and reading it felt like a little mid-week luxury}.
3. this sunny step.
{because it was the perfect little place for me to perch and eat my lunch in the middle of a busy day}.
4. these rain boots.
{because they kept me dry during a very rainy walking tour}.
5. these veggies.
{because they were brought to us by a dear friend on a surprise visit. can’t get much better than that}.
what little something made your week?

I love your week in objects! 🙂 That laundry rack is rather cool!
Looks like a great week! I like your week in objects series, it is a neat concept, and so interesting! A surprise visit from friends bearing vegetables? A dream come true!
sounds like a little slice of heaven. 🙂
Thanks for the happy bonbonning, Erin! I'm wearing my new necklace this very moment and I lurrrv it. I also love your appreciation for your wooden drying rack. I have one just like it, and I use it when I make pasta. My friend hangs her pasta over the back of her antique wooden chairs. I stopped by one night and there was homemade pasta drying everywhere around her kitchen. I love that imagery.
And I *LOVE* your blog- hooray! Can't wait to get a big hot mug of mulled cider and read through it more carefully this evening!

eating in sunny steps can't be better!
Good idea I should try it next time…
But the tropics is too hot..
Rain boots and rain!! (jealous)
my comfy mammoth mountain t-shirt made my week, I was appreciating the softness and thinking I wish all my clothes were that soft 🙂
Oh Erin, I always love your week in objects! A little something that made my week… finishing swewing my neice's tote bag which is part of her Christmas gift and shopping in Ballard with my husband. We have a new antique table to be arriving shortly at our doorstep! Have a lovely weekend!
