What is it about archives that make them feel so magical? The smell, the boxes, the books, the radiators… wonderful photos.

I love city hall archives! I went to the Portland, Maine City Hall to look up the history of my parent's old farmhouse and it looked very similar! Also, I loved how it smelled – the aging records, dust – so great!

Great photos! I really like the doors and the book spines. I've never been in but I'm going to have too. Hoping to get in to take some photos this weekend down near Westminster and Pine St.
