1. this glass jar.
{because it was the perfect thing for toting apples and peanut butter to class. turns out no matter what your age, going to school necessitates eating apple slices}.
2. post-it notes.
{because even though this degree of clutter near my desk would normally throw me into convulsions, this week these little notes helped me organize my thoughts}.
3. corn muffins.
{not an object. but finding the time to make them made my week}.
4. this other glass jar.
{because i got to play mad-scientist in the kitchen and reheat my crystalized honey into liquid goodness}.
5. my watch.
{because even though it told me i overslept this morning, having light later into the evenings is always, always a thrill}.
what little something made your week?
p.s. by now you’ve probably noticed that i switched these posts to be on sundays…turns out the week of a graduate student doesn’t end on friday, so i thought sunday was more fitting.

i completely agree with you about the apples. i usually get home from class around 3:30 and have an apple-and-pb snack. 🙂
my cell phone: because I received a call from a very good friend that I haven't talked to in a while. It made me happy!!

ps love the jar idea for your apples and peanut butter, I will have to steal that idea!!
post-it notes always make my week 🙂
I love apples and peanut butter! Sometimes I switch it up with some cheddar and apples. Perfect mid-day snack 🙂
Cups of tea made my week this week. I can't get enough of them. Right now I'm cleaning my place top to toe. That will make me happy too, once I'm done!
Have a great week!

heating up the honey crystals sounds so sweet and cozy…my big red slippers made my week, it was such comfort to hop into them each morning 🙂

love these slices of life
my husband uses those jars with the red gingham lids everyday to pack bits of his lunch…which sometimes include apple slices! they're a great alternative to those little plastic baggies.
and LOVE your watch…i've never really worn a watch but i just might think about it now.
I can never get enough of your pictures. I agree with everything.
I love your jar of apples & peanut butter.
A little something that made my week was a trip to Wild Flour Bread in Freestone, CA. A cardamom cappuccino and marzipan date scone were my fabulous Sunday treats. Chris ate an entire loaf of their fougasse bread. We strolled through their garden (berries, vegetables, herbs…). It was a great Sunday morning.
Love the apples and peanut butter, cutie!
Tell me more about that crystallized honey!! Looks amaaaaazing.
i love the photo with the post-it notes!
your swatch is the coolest thing EVER!!
…and apples and peanut butter is my favorite snack!
xo
Sounds like you could me get me organized. Ah ha ha. I am not so much Type A!
