my week in objects (mostly).

March 14, 2010
1. this glass jar.appleandpeanutbutter
{because it was the perfect thing for toting apples and peanut butter to class. turns out no matter what your age, going to school necessitates eating apple slices}.
2. post-it notes.post-its
{because even though this degree of clutter near my desk would normally throw me into convulsions, this week these little notes helped me organize my thoughts}.
3. corn muffins.cornmuffin
{not an object. but finding the time to make them made my week}.

4. this other glass jar.honey
{because i got to play mad-scientist in the kitchen and reheat my crystalized honey into liquid goodness}.

5. my watch.watch
{because even though it told me i overslept this morning, having light later into the evenings is always, always a thrill}.

what little something made your week?

p.s. by now you’ve probably noticed that i switched these posts to be on sundays…turns out the week of a graduate student doesn’t end on friday, so i thought sunday was more fitting.

Cups of tea made my week this week. I can't get enough of them. Right now I'm cleaning my place top to toe. That will make me happy too, once I'm done!

    Have a great week!

my husband uses those jars with the red gingham lids everyday to pack bits of his lunch…which sometimes include apple slices! they're a great alternative to those little plastic baggies.

and LOVE your watch…i've never really worn a watch but i just might think about it now.

I love your jar of apples & peanut butter.

A little something that made my week was a trip to Wild Flour Bread in Freestone, CA. A cardamom cappuccino and marzipan date scone were my fabulous Sunday treats. Chris ate an entire loaf of their fougasse bread. We strolled through their garden (berries, vegetables, herbs…). It was a great Sunday morning.
