my week in objects (mostly).

August 27, 2010
1. these pansies.pansies
{because they were collected by three year olds in my last few days on the farm}.

2. this salty chocolate.chocolate
{because as james would say, “it’s all willy wonka”}.

3. these muffins.muffins
{because my homecoming has meant finding a replacement for the blueberry muffin i ate every single morning on the farm. and because two coffee cups are better than one}.

4. this pot of succulents.succulents
{because i rescued them from the neighbors’ wall. say a little wish that they survive}.

5. this little card.emerson
{because, sometimes i need a reminder}.

what little something made your week?

ps. james and i leave tomorrow afternoon for a little impromptu trip up the coast. we’re not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.

Have a lovely trip up the coast!

    Those pansies are precious.

A new camera that takes tiny polaroids made my week, I would like to take one for each day if the film was free. 🙂

How wonderful is that bouquet?! So cute that they were collected by little ones. The chocolate and muffins look so yummy! Love that quote and I hope your trip blesses you with all of that and more. xo
(Time with friends, a city drive and flowers from my love, made my week.)

So much fun stuff. Pansies! I've seen salt + chocolate many times, but never salt & pepper + chocolate. I'm intrigued. Chris deciding not to work on Sunday made my week.
