on sunday we drove out to cape cod for a little winters walk. i’ve said it before, but i really love beaches in the wintertime. and even though it was positively freezing, i had some new sparkles to keep me company, so i didn’t mind the cold.
also, i’m glad that james doesn’t mind that i parade around in a sleeping bag. bonus.
i've never been to the beach in the winter! haha. what a strange feeling though.
looks beautiful! i love all those old houses, all lined up. imagine the history that must be in those walls…
Beautiful pictures. I love the beach in the winter too.
i also really love winter beaches. with snow or not. i grew up in northern california so actually most of my beach memories are rather cold 🙂 did he propose at the beach, or shortly before?
well… that was the plan. not to propose so much–we'd made the decision to get married together. but to give a beautiful ring, yes. but he got too excited. and so he gave it to me the night before. perfect in my book.
I do not love the beach in summer nearly as much (too many people for me! too much suntan oil!). If I had a higher tolerance for cold weather, I'd be there more often.
The Cape beaches are so beautiful in the winter – so peaceful and dramatic at the same time. Lovely photos!
I love these photos! And, yes, I love beaches in winter too!!
There's something I absolutely adore about the beach in the wintertime, I like the cuddles, the cold wind and the sound of the waves crashing in.
I loved Cape Cod, it is such a beautiful place!
