It's quite shocking to be reminded of how quickly everything can change.I've been working out my own thoughts and feelings on this in a way as to not feel paralyzed by fear. Sending love…. Reply White Tapestry March 15, 2011 at 2:21 pmI've been feeling the same way…it's a scary feeling. I guess we can only be hopeful that things get better from here on out. Reply cindy March 15, 2011 at 2:22 pmit's so difficult because the situation seems to be getting worse, and although we can donate money, i'm not sure that's exactly what they need right now leaving us feeling helpless. Reply Erin March 15, 2011 at 3:03 pmcindy: yes, indeed. Reply Char March 15, 2011 at 3:21 pmand we feel this way, imagine what they are struggling with. it is horrible. Reply Deb March 15, 2011 at 3:55 pmErin, I find comfort in Mr. Roger's words. Do you remember him from children's TV? He spoke to children to help them with their fear. He speaks to me still. He says to look for the people doing good. There are many that are helping and we can too. I'm sending my prayers for Japan and for you today too. Reply Nicole Franzen March 15, 2011 at 6:13 pmme too, I feel this pressure, this uncertainty. Its overwhelming and sad. The world seems to be facing some major changes. We either get with it and evolve with the changes and those who dont may have more problems. Its terrifying whats happening and its so out of our reach. I am with ya girl Reply stephanie March 16, 2011 at 5:12 amMy stomach just dropped at the interactive NY Times article. I was wondering if there were any before and after photos and it's even worse than I had imagined. Reply Mo Pie, Please March 16, 2011 at 7:31 pmAgreed. Reply rebecca March 17, 2011 at 3:52 pmi saw the ny times article yesterday as well. i was overwhelmed by the damage. i had no idea it was this bad. everyone wants to help out… but i feel as if there is very little we can actually do besides donate money here and there.
