flowers&brick1 flowers&brick2 flowers&brick3

yesterday on my walk to class i spotted these sweet little guys finding any which way to grow. so tiny. so unbothered by the looming mass of stone and brick above and below them. trying to find inspiration in their optimism this morning. trying hard not to get bogged down by the unfinished details of the projects i’m working on.  trying to think in solutions, not problems. it’s harder than it looks.

It is harder than it looks sometimes, and then you see things like this that brings you back to simplicity.

so glad you saw beauty on your way to school so that you could share it with all of us. Love the contrast of the tough bricks and the delicate white flowers–prettiness all around!

I love unexpected flowers and persistent plants. Keep meaning to get a shot of the ivy popping out of the top of our street sign.

Great images to convey your thoughts.. I hope your mind (and shoulders) will soon be free of the small burden you're carrying.. solutions come when you least expect them. Good luck!

You seem very sad through all these posts- like the winter has maybe been long, too long.
So may the light of springtime kindle the natural joy inside you,
and may your soul come through like all these flowers, blooming and radiant, despite whatever tasks or bricks or sidewalks try to keep you down.

They are inspiring. I recall thinking almost the same thing about some I saw pushing through cracks in concrete a few years back. You'll get through. Hold tight.
