office board & old souvenirs

February 20, 2012

DT2061-1DT11456-1 we took a stroll through the met this weekend and stumbled upon these paintings in the new american wing. i’m sure i don’t have to explain my love for them to all of you. you know it’s true. and yes, it’s worth the trip to the museum to see the real deal.

planning to find myself some pink ribbon and recreate my very own. i’m not very good at pinning things in a virtual space, anyhow.

paintings by John F. Peto (1854–1907).

Erin, I love these and it's the first I've seen of them. A painting for the deeply sentimental (… who, me?)

I love this! When I was young, my grandmother would help me create a similar board from ephemera I collected on vacations. She would frame the finish piece so I could remember my trip.

Hi! I came across this and had to make one for myself as well. I posted a DIY if you're interested in taking a look. I recently came across you blog and have added it to my list of regulars to check!
