five little things that made my week.
{sorry about these enormous pictures. some weeks are just oversized}.
1. this frying pan.
{for coming back to life after the kitchen sink leaked all over you}.
2. this tea strainer.
{just a few dollars at a local shop and just right for mugs or tea pot}.
3. this sister.
{for flying up from asheville for a lightening-quick visit. can you guess who she’s looking at}?
4. this cradle.
{and the tiny guy who sleeps inside of it}.
5. these paperwhites.
{for not getting completely shriveled when they had an unfortunate encounter with the radiator}.
other things:
a winter corsage.
i want to read this.
and this.
this is cheery.
love day gifties.

Really simple and beautiful. I love the cradle.
What type of cast iron skillet do you have?
It's a new Lodge. They're really affordable though I have to admit that I'm on the lookout for a vintage one to swap it for…the old ones are smooth on the inside and expertly seasoned!
I love sister visits! Can there really be a better type of visit?
We have a tea strainer just like that one. It's my favorite… just right for everything!
Neat tea strainer!
these baby-related glimpses are killing me. so sweet!
Such pretty blooms!
Yes, tea strainers! I've been using mine for rooibos candied almond.
Woah! Did you blend it yourself?
I have some paper whites that keep slapping me in the face as I try to play around on the computer lol.
Unruly little things!
Sweet divine paperwhites. And i love the tea strainer. Those are must haves. The cradle. Just a huge smile, no words.
The look on your sister's face is pure joy, which is wonderful. I like that tea strainer. I think other things for tea, like mugs and teapots, are cool too. I just wish I liked tea.
Hot cocoa in a tea pot? I think that'd be just right.
Oh I wonder if we'll ever get to see baby boy! That photo of your sister is adorable

Aw! Not sure it's gonna be anytime too soon. Mama Bear's not a blogger, so she's a little less free with the photos than we might be! Rest assured, he's the cutest little thing you've (n)ever seen
I'm reading Eat the City and enjoying it, you should definitely check it out!
