1 . this new system for napkins and dish towels. {also, that bright table cloth which has replaced our blanket as couch saver}.
2. this bridal crown daffodil.
{because it has lots of still unbloomed sisters outside, but inside it’s queen bee}.
3. this closet.
{because i’ve got big plans for an overhaul. cannot wait}.
4. this white stair case.
{because james and i painted it this weekend. spackle saves the day}.
5. this tiny tin.
{because it resurfaced this week. imagining aunt ruth at maxim’s is pure gold}.

I'm such a big fan of your week in objects. It reminds me to pay attention to the little things that sometimes make me happier than big events. Especially when I'm having a particularly mundane week!
The photos of New York then and now are fascinating!
Closet cleanse happening? 🙂
Your week in objects is one of my favourite reads. There is so much beauty in the simplest of things.. especially that bridal crown daffodil!
Lovely images of lovely items – happy Easter!
Thank you so much for linking to my site. Nicole is amazing and I am so lucky to have worked with her.

Love this!
love your list as always, erin. that tin is so beautiful!
Since you mention a closet overhaul… Would you have advice to share with us on clothes?
As someone who privileges quality over quantity, how do you deal with keeping a wardrobe versatile and manageable in size without feeling frustrated about never buying anything? And when you do buy, how do you find clothes that are both affordable and sustainable?
I was wondering if you could share your wisdom when it comes to managing your closet (perhaps as the object of a 'life in a tiny apartment' installment?)
Bonjour ensoleillé de Paris! Et bravo pour ce blog magnifique.
