five little things that made my week.
1. this basil.
{because i finally stopped overwatering it and now it’s doing just fine}.
2. these corduroy cutoffs.
{because i really needed them last weekend. also, because they remind me of my dad, circa 1987}.
3. this bathing suit.
{because a year later a bathing suit bought at the end of the season is sort of like a bathing suit bought at the beginning of the season, minus the rigmarole}.
4. this new work computer.
{for fitting perfectly in my trusty satchel}.
5. this no-longer-there popsicle.
{because it’s strawberry season}.
other things:
i’d like to make this.
these are jaw-dropping.
greyhounds are everywhere lately.
this is sweet.
other things by me in other places:
meadow muddling.
french market totes.
my favorite planter.
a bouquet sans fleurs.
balcony lust.
strawberries are here! ceramic berry baskets.

basil and herbs fresh from the garden have been brightening my day as well. loved the market tote round up! happy weekend.
PLEASE give your basil tips! i have tried and failed for years. as an apartment dweller, i'm dying for fresh herbs but am having no luck š
Wish I could grow basil. I am the world's worst at keeping plants alive. Jase bought me a beautiful orchid for our first valentine's day together, and even though they don't like too much water and I'm a serial underwaterer, I still managed to kill it by not giving it enough to drink!

I always look forward to your week in objects. A practice in gratitude is infectious. Erin you are so talented. I really enjoy reading anything you write and your photographs are always so wonderful. Have a lovely weekend!
Ha Corduroy, love it.
Gorgeous gorgeous photography, SurfLand.
Love the berry baskets.
I have a pepper plant in my kitchen that I have overwatered/underwatered in rotation for the last year or so. I think I'm finally starting to find a good balance… feels good to see it looking so perky for once (we'll see how long it lasts)
so perfect! i love your friday post!
Yay for strawberry season!
Have a great weekend!
I'm growing basil too! I'm obsessed with checking up on it after work.
Love your photos. And I always look forward to the links too! My boyfriend and I are planning on making the rhubarb honey syrup/soda soon! Thanks for the tip. xx

Basil, man I cannot get that plant right. It starts out okay, but then there are flies. And then it gets all leggy and thin ad searches for the light….i suck at basil.
Try sitting the basil plant on a saucer, and just watering the saucer: basil likes to take up water through its roots….I just found this out last week and my basil plant looks very happy

Basil mmm! I plant ti myself and it seems to be the best smell and topping for summer food/salads. Nice! Yummy shot!
