five little things that made my week.
1. this green addition.
{for looking so improbable, but managing not to fall down from the wall.}
2. these epsom salts.
{because some weeks call for midday baths.}
3. these tiny cupcakes.
{because somebody turned one.}
4. this new year card from meredith.
{because there’s no such thing as too late.}
5. this morning walk.
{and the others taken this week. james by my side.}
other things:
snark with a side of love.
heartbreaking reminders.
to eat.
a year with granny.
things by me in other places:
adventures with staghorn ferns.
one woman’s trash, another’s treasure.

I was just catching up on Gardenista in Feedly, and I came across a similar picture to your fern hanging. Imagine my surprise when I realized that the hanging fern on Gardenista and Tea Leaves are both from you! Awesome project and beautiful effect š
Thanks so much, Caitlin!
love staghorn ferns!
happy weekend!
Midday baths are ALWAYS ok. Especially where we pregnant people are concerned. Also the tiny cupcakes are so cute and I want to eat them, haha.

Ha! Glad to have your encouragement!
Thanks for the link, Erin! I'd describe you as upbeat, not chipper, especially in the world of blogging:) But, either way, nothing to be ashamed of, as you stated! xo
xo!
I love these week in objects posts! I dream of having an indoor (or outdoor) garden. Thanks for the inspiration!
You're welcome! Lots more gardening stuff on Gardenista if you're interested!

Have a nice weekend!
Your morning walk is breathtaking!
My favorite object of the week was a stoneware pitcher, short and chunky, with a pale green glaze covering the bottom half. It was on sale for 4ā¬ when it was supposed to be ā¬18, and from a French maker whose wares I've been eying for a good year and a half! When I saw it, I figured it was meant to be . . . And was certain of it when I filled it with red and white tulips from the two sweet flower guys at the Saturday market around the corner. I haven't had tulips for so long! Happy happy this find made me!
Sounds lovely!
i love your new addition š
