five little things that made my week.
1. these blackish blue berries.
{because they’re the inspiration for a little weekend paint job.}
2. this moon calendar.
{because it finally has a place to hang where i can see it.}
3. this scene.
{for reminding me of the sea.}
4. this lavender.
{for helping me to sleep at night.}
5. these ribbons.
{because it’s amazing what a scrub, some new light bulbs, and a little pull chain upgrade can do to an ugly ceiling fan.}
other things:
considering this rug.
and this lamp.
and these hooks.
a study on blogs.
glue gun + cardboard
i’d give most anything for a slice.
i need dress shoes. so of course i want these.
and these.
summer will come. and when it does.
things by me in other places:
a coffee, a rest, and a bouquet to take home.
a garage of her own.

Ha! Love how you keep your phone cord on your nightstand the same way I do. Also, love the sea scene!
Just trying to keep things real for you…;)
The ribbons on the pull chain! What a subtle change with a huge impact.
From where is your beautiful moon calendar?
I wish I remembered the name of the lovely woman selling it at the Remodelista Market in SF! Will try to track it down!
I have the Frye Regina (not the Mary Janes)… TOTALLY worth the money. I love them!
If I could afford it, I would own a ton of Frye. I got my mules brand new at a thrift for $3. I kid you not.
Good find!
Love your eye for detail, Erin. I'm so excited to see photos of the new place, once you've finished unpacking! I'm sorry for the trivial question but where did you get your bulldog clips? I know it's probably a stupid question but I want some to hang up some prints and don't really know where to get them.
I got mine at the local office supply shop! .25 cents each, or something similar!
I dab lavender on my temples & balls of my feet before bed each night, and often under my nose. Good for this time of year!
lovely, as always. i sleep with jasmine oil on and i love it š
Oooh…you're good!
It must feel amazing to have moved in to your new place (and on from the hunt.) Everything looks great, but in my opinion those don't really pass muster for "dress" shoes–a bit casual? A good dress shoe should be timeless, but have some sex appeal, you know?
Ha! Yes, exactly the problem!
You guys get some amazing light in your new place! Congrats again.
ps. Love your blog!
I came to comment the same as Diana above me. Wow, the light completely changed! I'm happy that you finally are in your new place and concentration on thing that are way more fun I'm sure š
(Belated) Congratulations on your new space! I love that sea scene you created.
Discovered your blog a few weeks ago and find myself checking in daily! Inspired by your pink paper cherry blossom, I made them and attached some to a brown paper present wrapped up with string- gorgeous!
I love that calendar; I still like calendars, even though I usually just use the one on my phone (though THAT one just isn't the same).
i love your pull chain hack! looks so cute! and that moon calendar is definitely swoon worthy. all pretty things.
