five little things that made my week.
1. these lily of the valley.
{for being lovingly plucked for the sweetest and most unexpected baby shower.}
2. this soap.
{because sometimes a return to a classic is as refreshing as trying something new.}
3. this evening primrose oil.
{because things are really getting real.}
4. this raspberry leaf tea.
{see above.}
5. this bread.
{and james for making it.}
other things:
naming neighborhoods.
never say never.
everything linen.
for foot propping.
this + this = diaper bag?
or maybe this guy?
things by me in other places:
dresser redux.
a place for napping.

Have you seen the diaper bags and inserts by Lily Jade?
those lily look like little fairy bells! so pretty
We love our Charlie bag! Can't recommend it enough!
Those lily of the valleys are so beautiful! Loving all your pre-baby tips…making mental notes for when we decide to have one!
Seems a little negative and ungrateful to me…PSYCH!
Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Team Erin!
I've read over and over that camera bags (the ones that just look like lovely purses/bags) make the best diaper bags, because of the compartments. And it's multi-use(ful). I wish I had known when my babes were still young enough for diaper bags.
Castille Soap….my favorite! And there's nothing better than homemade bread. š

That is my favorite soap!
Love the canvas totes but I like something that zips or closes. Always worried a bug or dirt or something would fall in or out. Beautiful bags!
OMG that linen etsy is my NEW HOME!!! thank you for the discovery/link!!
I'm due in 3 weeks with my second and just got a Forest Bag from etsy in the mail! The nappy bag is the perfect size and has tons of pockets. Expensive shipping as it comes all the way from Wales.
I love the english name for these flowers. Lily of the valley sounds lovely! If the german name was literally translated to english it would come out as "bells of may". But I like them to be called lillies š
Oh man that raspberry leaf tea is liquid miracle for me! I didn't know evening primrose oil was a supplement? Wild stuff!
Primrose oil and the raspberry tea are familiar to me- good luck!!!
This is one fancy shmancy diaper bag you got there, hihihi! A mini suggestion (feel free to ignore!), wait until you see what your needs are before getting a diaper bag (especially if you are breastfeeding as you won't need much). I only used this with my daughter and it was more than enough http://www.skiphop.com/product/prontochangingstation.html
Vive le framboisier, un classique!
I second what Claudia says! You'll be surprised by how a baby sling and few things tucked into your bag/purse will be more than sufficient for many months.
The Lily of the Valley is so pretty. I planted some and I hope it grows. The bread James made looks delish! I could eat the whole loaf! š
I'm surprised by the raspberry tea leaf. My doctor said to avoid it before 39 weeks because it can cause contractions and early labor. Would you mind sharing what benefits your doctor or CNM said there would be at this time? Not sure how far along you are. Best wishes!
Thank you for sharing that linen shop, it's absolutely wonderful! That bread looks delicious, by the way!
Hello Erin! Love your blog š Hope you are feeling well. Curious about the evening primrose oil? What is it recommended for? Thanks for sharing x
Aw, I love lily of the valley! They have such a Spring feeling about them. And homemade bread? Lucky duck! š
We use an LL Bean boat tote for our diaper bag and love it. It is affordable, durable, and once the baby is out of diapers will continue to be practical. Good for you for not falling prey to the baby industrial complex!
If I was going to do the diaper bag thing again, I'd get a Filson tote with zipper and this insert (it's all I use these days, goes into whatever bag, backpack, etc.) http://www.skiphop.com/product/prontochangingstation.html
eeek just saw your news on instagram, huge congratulations, Erin!!
Congratulations! Just saw on your Instagram š I wish you all three the best!
Saw some sweet news on your Instagram-it's ridiculous how excited I get for the new babies of people I've never met! Congratulations, lady!
Ah yes raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil. Yup. ooh what a great diaper bag idea! We use an Everlane backpack and a roll up changing pad. Works pretty great.
ps. I'm a new reader! love it.
If you're using the oil and tea to help kickstart labor, pedicures are also effective! And enjoyable.
can't wait to see little Faye in these posts!
