back to work.

tea lights for gardenista As many of you likely know, I’ve been the associate editor of Gardenista since last May. Getting to be fully entrenched in the land of gardening and working with a terrific group of editors and contributors was a total joy for me, but I’ve recently decided to leave my full-time position there to focus on some of my own work. I’ll still be contributing posts, so you’ll still be able to catch me over there with dirt under my nails, but I wanted to share the news here.

Jumping back into the freelance world is a scary leap—especially with a little one underfoot—but I’m looking forward to the challenge. And counting on that proverbial net to appear. Mostly, I’m really looking forward to spending a bit more time in this space.

PS. If you’re battling late-summer mosquitoes, pop over to Gardenista, where I shared a little insect repelling project this week; citronella not included.

Congrats on the brave leap. Selfishly, I'm happy to hear it! It's not easy to find someone who writes so well about minimalism with kids. Looking forward to more inspiration about living with less (and kids!).

Good luck mama! I know it's slightly terrifying for you, but it's very exciting for us readers! I can't wait to see what you end up diving into next! As I said before on IG, your blog is so inspiring on so many levels! It has quickly become my favorite, and even more since you've had a baby (I have 2, so I totally relate to your baby posts). In a way, I will live vicariously through you because I can only dream of doing what you're doing so I can be home with my babies more!
