five little things that made my week.
1. these flowers.
{brought to us over the weekend by my mama.}
2. this new-to-us mattress.
{because the craigslist gods are pretty nice sometimes.}
3. this mini sponge.
{because yesterday our bug needed a late-afternoon bath to reset and this helped do the trick.}
4. this sweet read.
{because in the world of board books there are bright spots, and this one was ours this week.}
5. this friday morning.
{because some dads just get it. junebug’s especially.}
other things:
your fear is boring.
a cautionary tale.
more beautiful in person.
museum-worthy?
speaking of museums.
choosing a life that’s big & juicy.
two favorite foods in one place.
layer-worthy.
things by me in other places:
natural childbirth (for the non-athlete).

I love fresh flowers in the apartment. I usually go buy them myself but its great when you get them a as a gift. Have a great weekend!

Thank you for sharing your 'off-blog' writing, I really enjoy reading your other articles. =)
And I wish I could keep fresh flowers in my apartment. But two mischievous kitty-cats means that a vase full of water isn't safe on any surface. Especially if there are sweet fragrant flowers to chew on.

That donut! I have become obsessed with them. Although they are probably not nearly as good here in Amsterdam…
Hi Erin,
The link to choosing a life that is "big and juicy" link isn't working. Normally I wouldn't bother you with it, but I am so curious so see what you were sharing with us! I hope you had a wonderful Indian Summer weekend 🙂
