my week in objects (mostly).

October 24, 2014

five little things that made my week:

1. this bread.
bread {because james is basically on a bread-making bender at this stage. pretty good for everyone involved.}

2. this book.

book

{because i’ve only just begun it, but it’s obviously right up my alley. report to follow, here.}

3. this chocolate.
chocolate {because these guys sent a box along for me to try. in a word: yummy.}

4. this red apple coat.
lil red jacket {because it’s still way too big for our bug, but it’s ridiculously cute and cozy (and on sale here).}

5. this honey.
honey {from those upper west side bees that james sometimes hangs out with.}
other things:
these brave and beautiful words.
non-career advice.
this dress.
another newsletter.
to make, tomorrow.
made in nyc.
5 am wake-up call.

things by me in other places:
a boot box.

    Thanks so much for that link to the Vogue article by Lily Stockman– it's such a bravely written piece. Is that bread from the sourdough starter you posted a while ago? It inspired me to try is as well!

    My word, that bread looks fabulous. This whole post is like a Christmas list, the kind where you buy a want (chocolate) a need (bread) something to wear (jacket) and something to read (book). And the honey is a nice little bonus. 🙂
