my week in objects (mostly).

January 16, 2015

five little things that made my week.

1. this salad bowl.
toy bowl {filled with a few special toys, it’s been just the thing to help faye learn to balance and sit all by herself.}

2. these tiny papers.
incense {because otherwise right now our apartment would smell like a giant onion. also, three cheers for stocking stuffers.}

3. this little duo.
duo {the sweetest gift for our sweet girl.}

4. this new shoot.
shoot {which arrived just in the knick of time.} 5. this bag. bag {a gift from junes. and the most useful addition to my humble collection. esp. for babysitting dropoff.}

other things:
still crazy about patchwork.
transformer dresses.
wild.
new basics.
stop.
bored and brilliant.
totally enchanting.
mavens, these women.

me in other places:
decluttering your space.
sharing your closet.

    I love those paper incense. What fun stuff were you cooking up with onions?
    There is something so amazing about new flower buds emerging, every morning when I wake up and look out my little window nook I love that I have a collection of greenery to stare at especially when its gloomy outside.
    Have a great weekend!

      Everything?! But the biggest offender was a big pot of lentil soup!

    Haha, a giant onion, huh? Better than a giant fish (in my humble opinion), but still. I get your point 😉

    I love all the toys (and baby products in general), you choose for your daughter. It is so fresh to see using simple wooden toys and not be overwhelmed by plastic, cheap material, bright colors and quantity over quality….I don't have kids yet, but I often dream about what would my kids play with, the food they would eat, etc. :))) and you are my huge inspiration in that way!

    You can also boil apple cider vinegar for a few minutes. It will take any smell out and won't leave behind a vinegar smell either. Of course, your papers are much more romantic!!

    If You'd like to, You could talk a bit more about Your daughters toys, that would be interesting. I have a little boy myself, he has very few toys. Mostly he has wooden toys, just one plastic car.

    I really enjoyed reading your article about sharing a closet. It's something my boyfriend and I are currently struggling with. So I found this article extremely helpful!
