my week in objects (mostly).

May 8, 2015

five little things that made my week.

1. these new shoots.
philodendron {because we’re practically a spotted philodendron factory these days.}

2. these new glasses.
glasses {because after leaving mine on a bench last year, i’m glad to be protecting my eyes again.}

3. this left side of the bed.
bed {because nearly a year after faye, james and i swapped back to our original sides. do you guys have sides?}

4. this comb.
comb {because i found it hidden behind the changing table and it’s nice to be reunited, even if the other side is smeared in avocado.}

5. these new blooms.
geranium {phew. new buds opened up. there’s sun enough.}

other things:
traveling with tiny humans (faye’s first flight this wknd!).
so now what?
summer pitchers.
this saturday, 8 am: new mama yoga at gun club.
honorary spinster?
they got me at four sisters.

things i learned from my mama.

    I especially like the photo with the flowers; it feels good to see flowers again, after so many months of bare branches.

    We will change sides because of our baby! Funny that you did it – only on the left side is place für the babybed and i want to breastfeed, so with the change it will be easier. But i will miss my original side, like i miss sleeping on the belly, which it not possible anymore…
    Greetings vom Germany!
