There are eleven weeks until my book wends its way onto shelves and bedside tables and gets tucked into backpacks. (Here’s hoping.)

Truth be told, I’ve never been much of a pre-orderer. I’ll wait, I’ve always thought. I’ll get that one once I see it in the local bookstore. I’ll borrow my sister’s copy. I’ll put it on my Christmas wishlist. It feels a little bit funny to write a post encouraging other people to pre-order a book, and especially surreal that it’s one that I wrote.

But in hopes that some of you might be more liberal in your pre-ordering tendencies than I have been, I’ll be signing prints of one of my very favorite images from the book and putting them into the mail to everyone who pre-orders the book (and who fills out the necessary info into the form below!).It’s a little something special from me to you. And also a little something that you might be able to tuck underneath a tree or into a stocking or into an envelope in case the holidays feel like the right time for sharing Simple Matters with someone on your list.
