five little things that made my week.
1. this colorful rag.
{because some messes are more fun than others.}
2. these boots.
{because they don’t always get super frequent wear around here, but this week, twice.}
3. this tea pot.
{because of the extreme pleasure someone’s been finding in tiny cups of chamomile tea.}
4. this little pile of supplies.
{because see number 1.}
5. these wheels.
{because all i want for mother’s day is for the rain to stop.}
other things:
i once asked a friend to stop scraping her fork on her teeth. it didn’t go over well.

always such great links, Erin! that one about misophonia rang eerily familiar (although I’m admittedly much less sensitive than the interviewee). also loved the unsolicited advice and the social cues piece. (and pretty much all the others hah 🙂 your weekly objects post always sets up much of my Friday reading!)
Oh man, I know it. I’m not as sensitive as the writer either, but I definitely sympathize! So glad you look forward to these posts!
Loved the unsolicited advice piece (although, I am now aware that I am unattractive…LOL). Also, the making friends. Such an oddly difficult task.
Ha. I FULLY disregarded that little bit;) And: agreed!
I guess I’m also unattractive!
Also, have you taken up skateboarding? Is that what that is? Details, please!
No. Ignore that part.
Got my skateboard for my birthday last year!
I’ve read so many sexist articles about how women talk it took me a couple reads to feel confident that the talking while female article was satire!
A man told me it was 😉
Yaaaaaay! I always do a little internal happy dance and utter an enthusiastic cheer when I see other people loving waterbrushes+watercolors too. My kids and/or I use them almost daily!
Since I have two skateboards waiting at home to be uncrated (and I am a grandma), what is the board you ride? How long? Waiting for a chance to ride can be hard but it is easier then waiting for surf.
