upcycling.

becoming a parent didn’t lessen my ambition, but it did make me more sanguine about work.

why are all the motherhood memoirs so white?

restoring the right to vote.

    i love the ‘buy this and you’ll be sustainable consumer’ link. greenwashing is so maddening and truthfully sustainable shopping labels, etc can be confusing! my summer essentials were mostly salvaged (thrifted, found, hand me down) and it’s the unbelievably amazing result of my only-buy-secondhand experiment. yes it takes longer and requires patience but it has literally changed my life for the better. more here: https://tps-steph.blogspot.com/2019/05/0037-25-ways-to-treat-yo-self.html
