In an effort to ground all of this gift-giving in something a bit more down to earth, here are a few ways to support folks in need:
In addition to their online class offerings linked to above, Brooklyn-Based HealHaus has a HealHaus Therapy Fund for BIPOC folks in the Brooklyn community in need of individual talk therapy. Contribute here or apply to receive the services yourself.

Maybe nobody else has said this because they feel it shouldn’t need saying (it really shouldn’t!) but aah what a refreshing selection of thoughtful gifts with no hint of machismo. It’s kind of relaxing just to look at!
Yes Nina, I love this so much. So. MUCH!
I love your mother/father’s day gift suggestions because they encompass so many things that a person can be. My brother is a cishet Christian dude in the Midwest and he loves to sew and embroider. He made us all Christmas ornaments when he was in middle school! I think he would feel very seen by your gift recommendations.
