All I really want is a not-so-fancy date night with a plateful of delicious food I didn’t cook and the ability to stay out past my bedtime. But while I’m daydreaming, I’ll also take:
a patchworked skirt made from vintage tablecloths.
a perfect bandeau for wearing with it.
these summery slides.
this particular plateful of chana tostada chaat from a neighborhood pop-up.
this madder gingham turned into a tablecloth or maybe something else entirely.
a thick brass cuff for adornment.

TAKE ACTION:
In an effort to ground this make-believing in something a bit more down to earth, here’s something that needs urgent attention:
Pick up the phone and call your senators! 202-318-1885 Tell them how important supporting a big, bold climate bill is as they work on this summer’s budget reconciliation.
Here are the four key demands: 1) A Clean Electricity Standard that cuts pollution and modernizes our grid. 2) Directing 40% of funding to frontline communities. 3) No more subsidies for fossil fuel corporations. 4) A Civilian Climate Corps that puts people to work.
Head to #Call4Climate to learn more about the specifics and help spread the word. Every single phone call helps.

Called for Climate!! Stuff like this is really hard for me and I’m having a mild not-panicked adrenaline rush. Feels so good to do it, thank you for the gentle nudge. Now off to call my insurance company because I’m on a roll! 🙂

Totally! But we did it!
Hope you’re doing well!
