    Oh No —- Lice! I remember the day my daughter came home with them and I truly just wanted to move. I have never cleaned or washed as much since then and to this day – NEVER try on hats without washing them first!! Good Luck!

        What I found is that the lice would invariably settle into the thickest, longest head of hair in the family! We became pros at getting rid of lice, too. And to add to the fun, my youngest made up a little Halloween song which she sang to her preschool class. It was based on a Halloween song they’d been singing: Trick or treating time has come
        Ghosts and goblims (her pronunciation) on the run;
        My sister has head lice and it’s no fun.
        Happy Halloween!

    That comb strikes fear into my heart. Found the buggers in my three kids hair (and mine) at bedtime the NIGHT before their first day of school. Did I mention twin kindergarteners with fine, slightly curly hair? We are lucky we all still have hair, because I sank to a very desperate place. I still run that comb through my hair at the slightest itch, three months later.
