Your site *is* trad propaganda.
i don’t think so!
Far out! Erin I tried clicking on the “likes” heart underneath that *ridiculous* comment – out of sheer curiosity to see if it’s mainly bots or real people with this *narrow* view . . . and alas I did not realise that would simply have me liking it. Which I DO NOT!
(Apologies – but I had to clarify to rectify!)
No worries! Hope folks read that piece by Ayesha! It’s so good!
Could you elaborate on how you like to use your Vermicular? I’ve done a lot of research on them and people seem to be divided on the overall functionality.
Hi! Not sure I have much more to elaborate on! Use it nearly daily these days for all and any kind of one-pot meals I might otherwise make on the stove! Love that I can set a timer and know it will shut off. Love that I can simmer beans/soups/etc. for extended time without having the gas running!
I feel really out of touch here, regarding the comment about your site being trad propaganda. I don’t understand where that reader is coming from. I read the article and maybe I am too old(64) to connect, or just plain not in the know, but can you explain what the reader is implying.
It sure seems odd, your site is vety progressive, and the only thing I see in your content that comes close to “tradition” is the homey, sometimes old-fashioned version of zerowaste/minimalism, which I find has a simple charm.
Sorry for the inconvenience
Your guess as good as mine! Def one half of a white cis-het marriage, def enjoy my spouse’s sourdough and making stuff myself, but not at all party to retrograde gender roles, misogyny, forced birth, centralized male power, right-wing politics, etc etc etc.
My guess is sourdough envy.
Oooh! I’ve never heard of cast iron induction cookers! Is it kinda like a good quality crock pot? What specifically do you like about it?
Kind of, yes! I did a sponsored post with these guys a few years ago and have largely been using the pot as a rice cooker since then (perfect rice every time!), but with so much gas stove research out, i’ve been using it more and more for different kinds of cooking. i can set a timer and simmer beans for a few hours without having to watch the pot/turn on the stove, not to mention make about any kind of soup, steamed veg, etc etc.
The punchy project – will that be a rug?? It looks really fun to make, but I’m not at all crafty so I’m not sure what is is, I just know that I like it!
I think I found it! Punch needle rug hooking?! It looks so fun, and I love yours ☺️
you got it! thanks!
Love the mask Suggestion! Is there maybe an alternative for Readers from Europe with very very sensitive skin?
(Also erin: i love your Blog. I really do. Thank you)
Hi there! Wish I could say I knew of one! Thanks for the kind words!
