i have a distinct memory of sitting in my high school physics class and sketching rings with my friends. i think the idea was supposed to be for us to sketch our dream engagement rings and i decided i wanted mine to be something leafy. ignore for a moment the fact that i was sketching engagement rings while i should have been studying physics. also ignore the more disturbing fact that i was 17 and thinking about engagement rings period.

just feast your eyes on these beauties from swallow. aren’t they lovely? the best part is they come from the fabulous and local shop, edge of urge. and for all of you out-of-towners, edge of urge now has a website that you should definitely check out. i would describe the style as a little bit quirky, a little bit cheeky, and very cute. if you have a chance to visit wilmington you should make sure to stop into the store–it’s beautifully curated and makes for delightful shopping. happy browsing!

Oh they are so lovely! I just adore organic-y metal pieces like this.

And how cute was your 17 year old self? Drawing rings sounds MUCH better than physics!

Their wonderful! AND, no it’s not ridiculous that you were thinking about engagement rings that early–well, I don’t think so, because so was I 🙂

That is so weird, I just tried on the dark and gold ring last weekend at a store in NYC. Love it, but thought it looked a wee bit goth. Love your blog by the way!

What an interesting blog you have, very varied, very gentle on the eye and reads easily. Cool
