outside, inside.

inside

outsidewe have a funky little window in our apartment. i’m sure that one day, way back in 1895 (or something), the dwellers of this little love nest had a lovely view of the street. but over the years someone got the bright idea to build a staircase and then to enclose said staircase (darn you, building codes). as a result, we are left with a window that looks out onto our neighbors sneaking down the back stairs to deliver their recyclables to the curb. but we don’t really mind. and in fact, i like to leave pretty little flowers on the sill to make their garbage trips just a little bit sunnier. here are this week’s flowers, from inside looking out, and outside looking in. and yes, sometimes we draw the curtain, but sometimes we don’t–we like to pretend we’re fishes.

Haha, I’m a fan of all windows, even if they have funky views. Actually, my favorite views are when I get to spy on neighbors, so win win?
