my week in objects (mostly).

July 17, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. homemade biscotti.biscotti
{because it was so good and almondy and i scarfed it down far too quickly. now i’m wishing i had more to munch on. right now}.

2. james’s chambray shirt.meshirt
{because i’ve never worn it before, but after a day at the beach, and a cold shower, it really was the perfect thing to lounge around in}.

3. this view.window
{because even though i haven’t mastered taking photos through sunshiny windows, this is the lovely view of the magnolia tree that i have from my table. i will miss this view so very much}.

4. james’s rolled up jeans.jamesfeet
{because he rolled them up to escape the rain, clearly revealing that we are one in the same, as i too cannot abide by wet-bottomed jeans}.

5. this book.book
{because it is the first novel i have read in far too long and it made me read my life in novel sentences all week. also, it’s very good, if unsettling.}.

also, did you notice how blue my week was? hmm, something to ponder.

what little something made your week?

    Hey Erin!

    How are you doing?

    Hmm biscotti and a book…sounds good 🙂

    How's the weather over there?
Here we finally got some sun, not that I mind rain but considering that autumn starts in august I need sun :p

    All the best!

    Love wearing my bestest's shirts!

What made me happy? The warm sunny days in SF (very unusual!).

I had a fairly blue-ish week too. So hard coming back to real life after a vacation. I miss wearing my love's shirts. I haven't done that since we got married and I am not sure why. Will have to do that again. Our week was filled with driving lessons for our oldest son, sunflowers peeping in our windows, chocolate no bake cookies and Bella's baby kisses.

Men's shirts are the best! Especially when they still smell manly. Happy weekend!

I LOVE that photo of you in James's shirt! I like wearing Dan's shirts too. My week was made by seeing my mother on her birthday weekend and touring the famous Ringling rose gardens in Sarasota, FL this afternoon. Have a fantastic weekend!

Wow! Your blog is a gorgeous find for me. You've been linked. I love magnolia trees, especially when they are in bloom. Imagine that view when the flowers come out! Gorgeous.
