last night it snowed and it was my sister’s birthday. hoping she got to catch a few flakes on her mittens, too. waiting for the end of this semester when we can celebrate in style. love.
Eee, we got our first snow, too!! It was that crazily cold, wet, and unrelenting NY kind of snow. But I was wearing my enormous coat and stopped for a couple minutes beside Broadway just to watch everything go by in the snow. (And then I got a very hot coffee.)
How exciting! It doesn't snow much in the UK and when it does the country goes into a panic and the transport system collapses! I'm looking forward to a few days stuck at home watching DVDs this winter… 🙂

I love snow, I really do. But it caused so many problems last year in getting to work, I really am glad it hasn't happened yet. Yay for you though!
