my week in objects (mostly).

August 15, 2010
five little things that made my week.

1. this high line._MG_9115
{because i’ve been wanting to walk it all summer. and finally, i did}.

2. this mac and cheese. macandcheese
{because sometimes you need comfort food. even in the middle of a heat wave}.

3. these blue eyes.blue_eyes
{because they were right across the table from me}.

4. this window. and wall. and pipe.bathroom
{because they look so bad now, that anything i do to fix it up will be an improvement}.

5. these teas.tea
{because of the sweet, sweet writing}.

what little something made your week?

You have had a nice week. All of these things are great. Your mac and cheese looks so good! Having a little bit of blue sky has made my week. It's been very cold and grey here in SF lately.

Mac and cheese definitely isn't one of my favorite heat wave foods, but I wouldn't say no if it were offered to me 🙂

That mac & cheese looks amazing. It's 104 degrees right now but I wouldn't mind that exact meal.

Mac and Cheese, mmmm. My stepson makes it with extra crumblies on the top and Gruyere cheese and a touch of garlic and jalepeno. Divine.

Love it! I too have been meaning to walk the High Line forever and still have not done it. I'd like to walk that and the Brooklyn Bridge before summer ends.

Oh how I have missed seeing your five objects. They are always a perfect smattering of images.

Are you still in the city? (It looks like yes) If so, let's grab that drink?

    I LOVE Veselka!
Mike and I went last week and had lots of kielbasa and pierogi – it reminded me of my Grandma's cooking. The polish/ukranian butcher across the street is also amazing.
