last night i managed to sneak a little time to wrap presents. i couldn’t get this article out of my head, so even though i had planned a kraft paper and white doily gift wrapping theme, i finished by making bags out of newspaper and using what tissue paper i already had in the house. snow fell while i wrapped and a glass of egg nog sweetened the task. only once did i throw myself on the floor in a fit of frustration. pretty good, i’d say.
hoping your last minute tasks are happy and peaceful and served with a tall glass of egg nog.
all of your wrappings look fantastic. I loved reading the article you posted here….it really puts life into perspective doesn't it? wow……
Merry Christmas friend!
You're wrapping is lovely. Merry Christmas to you.
i hope you have a happy and lovely christmas
you're a good egg my love. i just figured out what i'm getting all the kids now…heifer intl. animals. they'll appreciate it later no?
sounds like you're keeping pretty calm in the face of last minute tasks. i also decided to use up what tissue paper we had left in the house and to use newspaper for the rest. maybe fabric bags for next year? merry christmas!
thanks for the sweet notes friends. merry, merry.
They turned out marvelously! You should be proud of yourself, I truly thinking wrapping sucks. 🙂 Enjoy the egg nog, deary!
Wrapping and baking happened at the same time yesterday, the kitchen counter is a mess of tape, scraps and powdered sugar.
Ahh, beautiful! I love the colors.
