muffin when the weather simply refuses to stop doling out wintry tests of endurance, it’s time to answer back with a plan to enjoy the last few weeks of winter delights. remember how exciting wooly socks and steaming cups of tea were a few months ago? trying hard to remember what it feels like to turn the oven on in july and to savor this morning’s cranberry muffins. johnny jump up feeling somewhat buoyed by the memory of seeing this little guy peeking through the snow this week. and glad i spent the weekend lazing about with my sister. and friends. and this bundle of sweetness.

I love the glimpses from your winter window, the bare trees and gray skies hold their own beauty behind the plump warm muffin. šŸ™‚

Y'know, this brightened my day a lot. I always get into a slump right now with winter. Today I mae blueberry scones and it's nice that the oven didn't make it too hot to handle like our summers. ^_^

Mm! I am also enjoying the last bits of winter. Cranberry bread, roasting sweet potatoes, etc. But still wonderfully excited for summer!

Yes, yes, feeling exactly the same way. I pulled my curtain back to see another 8 inches of snow this morning and focused on the sparkling white not-yet-touched-by-plow-or-foot blanket draped everywhere. Also, I'm dying over those rosy cheeks of that little cutie. What a doll!

I understand the sentiment. We don't have snow but we definitely had a lot of rain this past week. We comforted ourselves with movies, boardgames and baked goods.

But before you know it, spring will be here šŸ™‚

Oh just gorgeous! I love this!
The wild flowers are coming out in droves here in LA and it's such a wonderful reminder of new beginnings!
