I need to eat more kale.
And possibly drink less tequila.
debatable.
Daddy ate this today..minus the kale. oops.
By George, that is a PERFECT meal!!!!
agreed.
Oh my, that looks delicious! Well, not so sure about kale – I really should try it one of these days – but I could definitely see that same dish with baby spinach instead!
marie. don't walk, run, to your nearest winter farm market and grab some fresh kale. there's no going back!
that looks like perfection on a plate…..oh wait…..
maybe I should become a poet š
Your pictures still continue to wow me……you had me from day 1.
xo
Oh man, my stomach is growling right now. Wish I had it in me to wake up a half hour earlier than normal tomorrow in order to make a hearty breakfast. Alas, I'll wait for Saturday and enjoy my chocolate croissant on the train during the week š
not a bad start to the day, either.
Lovely. It would be a very nice breakfast too! What do you drink with it?
Looks great, did you saute the kale? It's so very good for you. Have a beautiful weekend, dear.
hey julie,
no need to saute the kale. just massaging it in cold water does the trick to take away any bitterness. plus, kale picked in the wintertime is sweeter than warmer weather kale, anyway!
e.
beautiful. looks wonderful and healthy
ooh, saw your brilliant pressie idea for mulling spices over on kinfolk journal, and was reminded again how much i like the idea! and the kale looks amazing š
Kale is supposed to be so great for weight loss. My dad blends it into his health shakes. I can't wait to get over my blah taste for it.
