five little things that made my week.
1. these maternity t-shirts.
{because i caved and admitted my shirts don’t fit me. also 95% organic cotton can’t be the worst thing. also, i need to pinch my pennies.}
2. this heating pad.
{because i scoffed at the microwave that this apartment came with. now i could hug it}.
3. this handy clip.
{because my new sponsor flotsam + fork sent a set my way and they’re all kinds of useful. pita chips, too}.
4. this tiny notebook.
{for being filled with ideas for what we’re going to call this tiny babe.}
5. these hooks.
{because james ordered them and they were just, just what we needed for keys and potholders.}
other things:
a heated miracle-worker (similar to mine above).
sleeping pregnant couples.
the perfect slouch.
these too.
it’s finally feeling like spring. so.
matte.
haikus to new york. (thanks, christine.)
things by me in other places:
life in a cocoon.

I think I was the only pregnant lady I knew who hated heating pads. My doc swore it would help with Braxton hicks contractions, but I couldn't take the heat. I would, however, sit in a bath for hours at a time.
Hi dear friend! I would like a cocoon for a specific activity (wink!).. wouldn't that be something to tell your baby that he or she was conceived in a cocoon? Oh my goodness. Is this post going to be marked as spam? I apologize. But that's all I could think about when I saw the pictures in your article. Anyway, your blog and articles are too fab for words and I am so excited to see you + bebe + James this summer!! Chris and I will be in CT… permanently… as of later this month!
OMG. On so many levels. I love you. Harebrained ideas and all.
I'd like to stand up for my harebrained ideas. Although I'm sure the cocoon has many other uses. š
I can't wait to see which baby name you go for! And that 'photographs of sleeping pregnant couples' article made me smile – some were very cute

Agreed on both accounts! I'm betting on a garden/flower themed name if babe is a girl. š
I love every single image of this post, Erin. Such a beautiful light and perspective.
Have a wonderful weekend.
SEVEN dollars?!?!
Everyone needs a microwave for at least one thing… Mines is peas. Sophie x
Thank you so much for linking to my blog! Such a huge fan of yours x
