five little things that made my week.
1. these branches.
{for smelling so good.}
2. this bear.
{for eliciting the best squeals.}
3. this afternoon sun spot.
{because after a gloomy week, we needed every bit we could get.}
4. this bergamot cleaning spray.
{because sometimes afternoon sunlight brings the dust into stark relief. and a five minute clean makes everything feel right again. thanks for the treat, common good.}
5. this beach wrap-turned-makeshift-black-out-shade.
{because, new priorities.}
other things:
genius.
baby weight.
wrinkles away.
can practically smell it from here.
ring dishes.
slippers.
considering buckwheat.
me in other places:
(fewer) gifts for babies.
psst: it’s almost that time again.

Yes to sunlight after gloomy days! So precious.
Oo I do that packing method you link to – not necessarily for wrinkles but because it will enable you to fit an INSANE amount of clothes in your suitcase. I've brought 2 swim suits, 6 tanks/tees, 5 blouses, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 skirts, 6 dresses, jeans, a cardigan, a rain jacket, a jean jacket and pajamas in my carry on with room for 3 pairs of shoes to spare.
thanks for always sharing such beautiful photos. i really don't say that enough.
oh, and bergamot cleaner? i feel like i crave a cleaning supply for the first time in my life.
Just cried, several times, while reading Baby Weight. Thank you for sharing it.
Your posts are a quiet highlight to my day, and help me appreciate what I already have. Thanks also for considering us.
Very thankful for evergreens and their wonderful smell when you come downstairs in the morning!
I'm such a sucker for great smelling cleaning products that motivate you to clean! I'm currently using Murchison-Hume's White Grapefruit and Fig scented products, which I love, but I'm always looking for new products to add to the rotation. Thanks for sharing, this line is new to me and I will definitely be checking it out! AND thanks so much for linking to our BDB dishes, this truly made my day!!
Yes to buckwheat. I started with the Blessed Nest nursing pillow, then quickly moved onto a pillow for myself.
Your photos look so calm and pretty, as always, I really enjoy seeing the weekly roundup. I especially love the sun spot.
The buckwheat pillow, is it soft and comfortable? Does it have good support? I have never heard of it before.
Thanks and have a great weekend.
