of a kind: a limited-edition giveaway.

of a kind giveaway reading my tea leaves
Here’s a not-so secret: none of us wants our homes to be boring. We might—some of us—aspire to simplicity, or neatness, or perfectly curated tea collections, but we don’t want our homes to look exactly like someone else’s. Still, given an endless bombardment of products produced in quantities that would outfit every household in your average small town with identical housewares, it can be hard to find your own voice. Happily, there are badass retailers helping in the noble pursuit of creative flair.

Enter Of a Kind. Founded by Erica Cerulo and Claire Mazur, Of a Kind is one of my very favorite places to direct folks who are looking for gifts that both inspire and celebrate individuality. The concept behind the brand is simple: limited-edition runs of beautiful home goods, clothing, and jewelry produced in small batches by emerging designers.

Adding a special je ne sais quoi to my own humble space in these photos are the Tactic Dot Pillow by Archive New York and the Playing Field Candlesticks and Tray by Good Thing, both currently available at Of a Kind. But more important, both are part of a special giveaway for three of you.

Nestled among neutrals, the Tactic Dot Pillow provides a dose of good cheer.  of a kind giveaway reading my tea leavesAnd strewn with bonbons of the chocolate-covered pretzel and coconut-caramel popcorn variety, the whole kit and kaboodle becomes the perfect scene for your favorite (and mine) Saturday afternoon pastime: Snoozin’ and treats.ofakind_giveaway_reading_my_tea_leaves8512webIf you have a hankering to spruce up your own space, or give something special to someone else, now’s your chance. Of a Kind is offering three Reading My Tea Leaves readers a chance to take home these gifts. They might be just what you need for entertaining guests. Or yourself. Serving caramel popcorn not required, just recommended.

To enter: Sign up for the Of a Kind newsletter by filling out the form below and enter yourself for a chance to score a Tactic Dot Pillow by Archive New York and a Playing Field Candlesticks and Tray by Good Thing.

Bonus: If you follow Of A Kind on Instagram, you’ll earn yourself a second entry. We’re choosing three winners for this minty-fresh prize package—so cross your fingers and toes! (Apologies international readers: Open to entries from the U.S. only.) The giveaway will close on Friday, November 5 2015 at 11:59 pm ET and three randomly selected winners will be contacted by Monday, November 8, 2015.

This post is one in a series of giveaways I have planned to celebrate the season of plenty and gift giving. This post was sponsored by Of a Kind. Thanks so much for supporting the brands that support Reading My Tea Leaves.

Ah….I LOVE that you referenced the “snoozin’ and treats” bit from that Marcel the Shell video! We say that all the time to our dog. 🙂

    Greetings from Paris!

Really loving the idea behind this company, wish the competition was available here in France though! As always a great post and not contrived or pushy at all!

Hi Erin! Your choices are definitely beautiful and it’s a shame these are not available here in the UK. Funnily enough, I bought a sideboard exactly this color a few months ago (oh, the joy of moving apartments and finding out the shallow cabinets will not fit all your stuff – but at least there is room for a sideboard!) and put on white lilies over it just last weekend (they still smell amazing, btw). Before that I had hot pink gerberas and roses, which I got for my birthday and initially rejected the idea of combining the two colors, but it is amazing how they go well together (when you’re feeling adventurous with colour you should definitely try 😉 On a separate note, where did you get your beewax candles from?

I got these from a local shop—not sure precisely who makes them!
