five little things that made my week:
1. this pillow.{because this week was a good week for sleeping. and i can’t say the same for every week.}
2. these snowflake socks.{because i’m trying to embrace all the winter we still have left.}
3. this bag.{just because it was just the right thing for sneaking candy at the ballet.}ย
4.ย this envelope.
{and the others, for helping get books in the mail.
5. this leftover portion of fresh, cheesy pasta.{because it was fromย a weeknight dinner with a sister and my parents.}
other things:
art mimicking art.
a mountain of cardboard.
tiny kitchen, better cook.
technicolor beets.
“i decided i would not spend one minute being afraid…what if it’s awesome? and it is.”
in support of (disposable) mesh underwear.
monkey business, illustrated.

I also slept well this week, thanks to a certain newly adopted kitty cat who finally stopped wailing in the middle of the night! Huzzah!
Love the candy-sneaking bag. Can we be friends?

Love it-such a joy to my eyes! The pretty little things. Thanks!
Tiny kitchen, better cook…. Loved the article.
Noted…. ๐ you will have a great time.
Are you going to be doing any book signing/reading things during your visit to L.A.? Or is strictly pleasure. ๐

Yes! Hoping to! Just working out details! Hope to announce something soon!

Great links this week. I loved the one about the mesh underwear! Thanks.
Glad someone slept well this week. We did not.
Also….I once snuck a cup of coffee in a brown paper bag to the opera at the Met. If that isn’t classy, I don’t know what it ๐
Yes. It’s been a long 90 weeks for us ๐ Long live illicit snacking.
Erin, out of curiosity, when you moved Faye into the bedroom did you move her changing table/dresser in there too? (And your dressing table/dresser into the main room?) (I love double function, hard working furniture). Btw, I’ve just (finally) got your book, and I’ve been loving it! Congratulations on it!
Yes! We swapped everything!
Lovely!!

Little things are what makes our lives so great. Also, love the snowflake texture – it brings me many sweet memories. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the article on Misty Copeland, I found it really inspiring.
As for the article on cardboard, I completely agree, which is why I try to avoid online shopping (which is hard for someone who hates to shop). I really appreciate that the association that delivers my organic vegetables bi-weekly takes to boxes back each time they deliver a new (as long as I remember to put it out for them).
