Please tell me where you got the toys from?

They were gifts from dear friends! There’s lots of beautiful wooden toys that are similar on the Acorn Toyshop and Diaperkind sites.

Cloth wipes are so easy with cloth diapering!! I’d say easier than disposables b/c there’s no accidental dropping the wipe in the diaper laundry bag.

Cut 5-shirts in a 6″x6″ square work splendidly!

Yes! This is definitely what we’ve found!

      Ehhh T-shirts, not 5-shirts!!

I wondered what the odd square of cloth was in my laundry pile. I must have accidentally dropped a (disposable) wipe in the basket still, it’s good to know I can re-use them!

Oh goodness, that essay “You do not have to be good” really has me. It’s so beautiful and so right. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea for storing loose gear! What plain cotton bags are those ?

      These are from muji!

The ranunculus are gorgeous. I’ve been needing to bring some spring-y pieces in my apartment to break up all the winter!!

Thanks for the “you do not have to be good” link (love Mary Oliver, so had to click). I had never read Nora’s blog before, and I enjoyed binging on it.

I love those mittens too. Quite cozy! Though I am also looking forward to sunshine filled days.

oh man. “you don’t have to be good” was so beautiful. thanks for sharing.
(and i also agree about cloth wipes! they’re handy after the baby is done with them, too!)

I am so delighted by my switch to cloth wipes! I use the muslin from osocozy and these great tea tree and lavender cubes from Baby Bits that turns a cup of hot water into a gentle cleanser. It lasts forrrrrrrever and, bonus, it takes off my makeup without drying my skin (does anyone else do this? Test out baby products on their face?)

That Mary Oliver poem is such a good token to carry for moments of despair, thanks for bringing it to the front of my mind.

It’s pretty easy to make pom poms with cardboard, too: http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/WebLetter/Stitches/PomPom/PomPom.php

Then you can just recycle the cardboard 🙂

    • Reply ERIN BOYLE March 11, 2017 at 6:46 am

Ah yes. Always have. But the mishap I recently had was accidentally ripping the cardboard before the pom was tied and the whole thing fell apart in my hands!

Cloth diaper wipes are just so much nicer. I wish more parents would hop on board.
