five little things that made my week.Ā
1. these green shoots.
{for sprouting! now to see about the flowers and the fruit!}
2. this little watering can.
{for just barely fitting between the window bars. see above!}
3. this stack of hidden bedside books.
{for getting reorganized and ordered.}
4. this little helmet.
{and being endlessly inspired by a toddler’s ability to learn a new skill.}
5. this laundry.
{because of sweater weather for two fuzzy ducklings.}

Hooray for plants sprouting! Thanks for putting in the link to the indie bookstores article. Don’t ya just LOVE bookstores?!
Oh I love the Rebecca Sonit article. Beautifully written and poignant.
Love the bookstore link!
Thank you for the link to the Self Made Man. So powerful and magical in language. It acknowledges the hurt inflicted by the “Fisherman’s Wife” but also the possibility of miracles and karma.
This laundry is so pretty! The little sprouts are so cute, I love these photos xx
Wow, really loving Meg Fee’s blog. Fantastic. Thank you Erin!
And that Toni Morrison piece, wow. And of course I love bookstore articles — I miss working in one here in Paris!
Me too everything you said, (except the Paris part).
I always appreciate the directions in which your Friday post points my Saturday morning reading. Thank you.
Me too!
Small sprouts are always a mood boost! It was a real magic for my children to find the first sprouting plants in our pots. It was one of those special small moments, that really made my whole week. And really thank you for the bookstore link š
Love reading about “packaging food with food.” Here’s hoping that conversation moves along a little quicker…
Can you please share some of the books on your nightstand? I am looking for some new books to read!
