5. this yarrow.

{for sticking around and staying cheerful, even after drying up.}

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for your constant focus on the inhumanity of our country’s immigration policies. Change will only happen when we all stand up and say: enough.

    Thank you for the link on how to help fight the family separation policy – I was feeling so helpless reading about what’s happening, and it’s nice to be reminded of all the ways I can help.

    Yes to RAICES! No child should ever be separated from their parents this way. Horrifying! What is the world doing to hold the Mexican govt responsible for the fleeing of their people? No one would leave this way if it wasn’t for absolute desperation. I am shocked to have not heard the Mex. govt being addressed, or maybe I have missed it? Shame on the Mex govt and shame on us for separating families. Two wrongs don’t make a right!

      Most of the people are from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala not Mexico. Those three countries have horrifying gang violence, where infanticide and femicide are common, and families are killed of their young boys refuse to join the games. The governments there are a joke. The gangs rule all. Please educate yourself on what is going on and the history of what caused this violence.

        Thanks for responding Christie. I am trying to educate myself. I did write that no one would leave their country this way (fleeing) if it wasn’t for absolute desperation. I wasn’t talking about only Mexico, but for the sake of streamlining my comment, I didn’t mention every country. People flee from African countries too. My point, yes their govt, as you say, “are a joke.” Still, I would like them to be held more accountable for the horrifying conditions their own citizens are forced to flee from. I am all for taking in refugees, while STILL asking for their govts to be pressured into enforcing laws.
