five little things that made my week.
1. these curls.
{and those chicks. and everything about spending a few days at my mom and dad’s.}
2. these curls, too.
{no matter the hair-brushing struggles.}
3. this coffee-colored dress.
{all the better for hiding the one i spilled down the front of it this morning.}
3. this grammy and grandpa-made mud kitchen.
{because what could be better?}
5. this enormous mint patch.
{for never running out.}
other things:
if you follow one new person on twitter this week.
a place you might direct pennies this week.
it’s hard to be what you can’t see.

Regarding sky-sharing: Tonight let’s read My House Has Stars, the lovely picture book written by Megan McDonald and illustrated by Peter Catalanotto, published in 1996 but so very relevant today. Always important: a picture book that stands the test of time–and of heart. https://www.betterworldbooks.com/search/results?q=My%20House%20has%20Stars
Erin,
Could not get photos # 1, #3 and #5 to load on either phone or desktop. Might be me, but other photos are loading fine. Thanks!
Oof! Thanks!
Erin, You have two #3’s. Hope you meant it when you said you appreciate crowdsourced edits 🙂 Lovely post as always! Side note: have truly appreciated your Instagram stories lately! And your voice/activism/love in these times!
Thank you! Working while also vacationing strikes again!
i think the “it’s hard to be what you can’t see” link is broken.
thanks for this round up, erin!
Will investigate!
I love reading your week in objects!
Gotta plant that mint in a raised bed or it will root all over the place and you will be drinking mojitos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
No worries! It’s in my mom’s raised and sectioned herb garden!
